On the Linux front...
Work has been ongoing for some time to bring back the Linux build of the editor up to speed with the Windows one. There are not many issues to take care of mostly thanks to the excellent cross-platform abilities of both Qt and the underlying GameStart engine.
A Native Linux Port
To prove this is not an hoax I, of course, have some screenshots to show...

The GameStart editor running natively in Kubuntu.
Results so far...
Alright, not everything is perfect and there are some minor annoyances like the fonts not exactly looking the way they should, so there still is a bit of polishing to do before it is ready. But on the functionality side of things pretty much everything works as expected. Performance-wise the results are pretty much the same as under Windows provided that you turn off compositing. The rendering performance takes a great hit with KDE compositing enabled but that's understandable and can be seen under Aero as well albeit to a lesser extend.
Once the build is ready there will no doubt be a lot of deployment issues to take care of, but hopefully we can make it work!

Mostly ok, but not quite.

Some news about the Linux port ?
I'm really interested, since it's the requirement that I'm facing to.
There's very good engines out of there that can produce code for any platform, but their problem are that the editor and tools are only available to Windows. It's so disappointing considering the multi-platform tools out of there now like QT.
