Basically I run a small but well connected (with other freelancers) company which focuses on tailored game asset delivery and architecture visualizations. Mostly environment modelling and level design services. Some people would call it outsourcing-company. But this term always has a bad smell like yet another low-cost, low-quality, non-responding and not-delivering company. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With Pure3d I follow the philosophy to deliver fine-arts with a minimum of revisions, data security for my clients and of course delivering in time while putting all my heart and passion for game-art into it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I operate under the brand “pure3d visualizations – digital essences” since spring 2010 after freelancing for some years. Pure3d is located in Germany.&lt;br /&gt;
Clients are from different sectors. We have large companies which need game-art or realtime-visualizations services for architecture or landscapes. Some are game studios others are from serious-gaming and not game related. Even some military training stuff has been done by us. Indy-Dev’s are consulting Pure3d because we offer nice sale models – not for free – but negotiable.&lt;br /&gt;
Finally even some coders and engine-developers are in our portfolio because they need some nice stuff to replace their “coders-art” ;-) or use our assets for prototyping their projects. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Due this demand I restructured the small but growing online-shop from offering game-model collections to individual assets. Some clients don’t need exclusive content so I’m allowed to re-sale them in the shop too. Most of the models are vegetation assets because it seems hard to do with a decent look. &lt;p&gt;So far ive been very impressed by the tutorial videos, the editor looks great, lighting is very nice and and the potential to create large terrains with 50cm precision is really attractive. The website is very nice too, with minimum fuss and easy to navigate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am currently looking for an engine for my project and i have been unable to find something that i am totally happy with. I have used Cryengine 2/3, Unigine, Unity and Leadwerks. There are some characteristics of this engine that had me wondering if it was in fact based on Leadwerks, but i see no mention of it anywhere.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I was very impressed with stress test video and i was hoping to create a scene like this myself.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m currently trying to import my heightmap so i can test the engines performance. The heightmap is 4096x4096 and i have tried importing it using several different formats without success.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My process is as follows: Open sample project, create new scene, add terrain with 4096 dimensions and texture set to High, select terrain in the identifier window and in the properties tab select &#039;terrain menu&#039; &amp;gt; heightmap &amp;gt; import from file. Some computing takes place but then nothing of interest happens. I&#039;ve tried scaling the heightmap but this had no effect either.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It would be great if someone could walk me through the process or provide a link for a heightmap tutorial.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;RocksHD features 35 rock models including different geological types like sandstone, greystone, edged rocks, large formations and even dark lava rocks. It&#039;s aimed mainly at game-developers but also useable for all other people in the 3D field of course.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Each rock has been hand-crafted in Zbrush with also painted 2048px textures made from then high-poly bake including normals, AO and Cavity. The textures are seamless which means you can rotate each rock in any angle without looking at nasty edges or texture seams giving you all artistic freedom your project deserves.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Like usual lots of common model formats are supported: .max (2010), .fbx (2009), .obj, .3ds, .dae (OpenCollada) and .gmf (Leadwerks)&lt;br /&gt;
Also textures included in the .fbx for easy drag&amp;amp;drop functionality plus .dds 2048px normal,diffuse and specular setup.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I offer five different model formats, including .max, obj, fbx, dae, 3ds and of course custom made textures for each vegetation asset. Level of detail models are also in there for most models.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hello, I think you need to let your engine open source, how does a company garagegames. I bought their game engine Torcue 3d, and very pleased at. With open source torcue 3d I can develop it to a different extension and then sell them through their shop - it&#039;s very enhances their engine, and hence demand. You certainly can take with you extension developers a percentage of sales. Your engine to be honest I like the silent more than torcue 3d. Think about my proposal, now the competition is huge game engine, and you do not have a count as programmers in Unity for example. Allow the engine licensees extend the capabilities of your engine and you will not lose.&lt;/p&gt;

Did you made some modifications to improve compatibility with Intel video cards? I wanted to test this version on my notebook (intel M4 video card).&lt;/p&gt;
