Video - Moving in Space
This video will show you how to efficiently move the current viewpoint in your scene. The two editor modes ('flyby' and 'orbit') are demonstrated.
Moving the current viewpoint is always done with viewpoint edition modifier key (left-Alt) held down.
Summary of the 'Flyby' mode
- Alt+Left mouse button: Rotates the view,
- Alt+Right mouse button: Zoom in/out,
- Alt+Middle mouse: Pan view.
Summary of the 'Orbit' mode
Press 'Ctrl+A' (or select 'Centre on Selection' from the View menu).
- Alt + Left mouse button: Orbit the view around the selection,
- Alt + Right mouse button: Zoom in/out on selection,
- Alt + Middle mouse: Pan view.
Hint: Target and orbit over any position in the world by double-clicking on an object while holding down the 'left-Alt' key.
